Eliot Festival 5K Road Race

The Eliot Festival 5K Road Race takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Eliot, Maine, with the start and finish at the Eliot Town Hall parking lot (1333 State Road). The race is part of the Eliot Festival Days celebration.

Proceeds support local organizations: Footprints Food Pantry, the Eliot Fuel Assistance Fund, and the William Fogg Library. The event uses a USATF-certified course that is well marked and escorted by police along town roads and rural by-ways.

Course and race services include ChronoTrack chip timing with results prepared for state and national rankings and made available online; results are also texted to pre-registered runners. Water is available at the start/finish area and at a station around 2.8 km on the course. Walkers and strollers are welcome; dogs and bicycles are not permitted. Cash prizes are awarded for first through third places in the men’s and women’s divisions, and medals are presented to winners in all age groups.

Packet pick-up is available the day before at the Eliot Town Hall parking lot and on race morning near the starting line. Free parking is provided on State Road across from Wiltshire Road; parking attendants will direct vehicles. Runners are advised to observe posted speed limits and watch for poison ivy in the parking field. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
