Eliot Festival 5K Road Race
The Eliot Festival 5K Road Race takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in the center of Eliot, Maine at Eliot Town Hall, 1333 State Road. The race occurs during the 45th Eliot Festival Days celebration. Proceeds support Footprints Food Pantry, the Eliot Fuel Assistance Fund, and the William Fogg Library.
The USATF certified course is well marked and follows scenic rural byways with police escort. The start and finish are located in the Eliot Town Hall parking lot. Walkers and strollers are welcome; dogs and bicycles are not permitted. Water is available at the start and finish area and a water station is located at approximately 2.8 km on the course. Complimentary food and drink are provided to participants after the race.
Chip timing is provided by ChronoTrack with a common start and finish conducted to USATF standards. Results are prepared for state and national rankings and are posted online; they are also sent to pre registered runners shortly after the event.
Online registration is available through September 25 with fees of $45 for runners age 18 and older and $32 for runners 17 and under. Limited day of registration and packet pick up are available near the starting area. Free parking is provided nearby with attendants to direct vehicles and a posted speed limit of 10 MPH. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three men and women and medals are awarded to winners in all age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
