The Elevating Autism 5K & 1 Mile fun run takes place in April 2026 at Sam Smith Park in Cartersville, GA. The event includes a USATF-certified 5K course that also serves as a qualifying event for the 2025 AJC Peachtree Road Race. It is presented by Academy ABA and is organized to raise awareness about autism in the local community and to support efforts by Boost Abilities, LLC to educate and connect families and community leaders.

Pre-race online registration is open until April 12, 2026, with an early-bird 5K rate that applies through March 1, 2026. Pre-race packet pickup and race shirts are available at the Big Peach Running Co. store in Cartersville for those who pre-register. Race-day parking is available at the Ric Mason Soccer Complex parking lot behind Cartersville Middle School.
On-course and finish amenities include a mid-point water station, restrooms, and finish-area refreshments such as water, Gatorade, fruit, and snacks provided free to runners. The 5K awards include top overall and master prizes for men and women and top placements by age group; the 1 Mile awards include medals for the first three boys and first three girls to finish. The event will be held rain or shine unless local authorities require cancellation, in which case registered participants will be transferred to the rescheduled date without refunds.
