Ugly Sweater Fun Run - Fruita
The event is a social 5K fun run in Fruita where participants wear festive or ugly holiday sweaters. The run includes an ugly sweater contest and an after party with seasonal brews, hot chocolate, music and food. The event benefits Girls on the Run Western Colorado, a program that blends physical activity with life skill development and concludes with a 5K for participating teams.

A series of post-run activities called the Beer Olympics is offered with a fitness partner. These competitions mix gym-based challenges and social games and include events such as a keg haul relay, beer balance relay, beer squat challenge, cornhole drinking challenge, triple jump, and a flip cup planking relay. Non-drinkers may use water in place of beer. Additional challenges include a growler carry and a keg carry with performance conditions that reward successful finishers.
