Eggleston OK5K & 1 Mile Run, Walk & Roll (17th Annual)
The Eggleston OK5K & 1 Mile Run, Walk & Roll is an annual fundraising event that supports Eggleston Services’ mission to create meaningful opportunities for adults with disabilities, including employment, day support, brain injury services, veteran services, and residential supports.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Virginia Wesleyan University, Batten Student Center, 5817 Wesleyan Dr., Virginia Beach, VA. Packet pick-up takes place Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Eggleston Corporate Office, 5145 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA.
Registration is available online or by mail with a completed form and check. Fees vary by registration date: early bird (by April 30, 2026) lists the 1 Mile at $20 and the 5K at $35; May 1–May 25, 2026 rates list the 1 Mile at $25 and the 5K at $50; May 26–June 13, 2026 rates list the 1 Mile at $35 and the 5K at $65.
The course is paved and described as accessible, open to runners, walkers, wheelchair participants, families with strollers, and participants of varying mobilities and abilities. Sponsorship packages and volunteer opportunities are available, and donations may be made instead of participating. Proceeds support Eggleston’s year-round programs such as Brain Injury Services, Warrior Bridge veteran programming, and Day Support.
On race day there is a community atmosphere with music, kid activities, prizes, vendors, post-race refreshments, and a vendor fair. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
