Event overview
Eckert's Belleville Farm Wine Run 5k is a 5k run and walk held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Eckert’s Belleville Farm, 951 S Green Mt Rd, Belleville, IL 62220. The event is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing. Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib, online results, and a pour of wine. Minors may participate with a discounted registration; minors do not receive a wine glass or a wine pour.
Course and logistics
The course starts and finishes at Eckert’s Orchards and follows an out and back route through the orchard and farm. The route includes a mix of paved paths and grass or cross-country style sections. Packet pickup is available on race day only from 7:30 am to 8:45 am. Free race photos are provided for download after the event. A virtual participation option is available; participants may have a packet shipped for a $10 shipping and handling fee.
Registration, awards and partner
The event offers age group awards for the top three finishers in each ten-year age category. Competitive runners are asked to start with the first group to be eligible for awards; awards must be picked up on race day. The local charity partner is Operation Food Search, a hunger relief organization that serves individuals and community partners in Missouri and Illinois.
