Eaton 5K Run/Walk
The Eaton 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 17 2026 at the Eaton Fire House, 2631 Mechanic St., Eaton NY 13334. The event is a community five kilometer road race and walk held in a small town setting.
The course is certified and is mainly flat with a few rolling hills. The event marks its 29th year in 2026. It is part of the Rt.20 Road Challenge Series and is sanctioned by USATF. Proceeds benefit the Eaton Fire Department and a local memorial fund.
Trophies are awarded to overall male and female winners. Ribbons are awarded to first, second and third place finishers in age group categories for male and female participants. T shirts are available to pre registered entrants only and cost $11.
Online registration is available through October 10 2026. The standard registration fee is $20 online. Race day registration increases to $25 and the fee for participants 12 and under on race day is $10. No dogs are allowed due to liability insurance rules.
