The Eaton 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in Eaton, NY 13334. The event is based at the Eaton Fire House, 2631 Mechanic St., Eaton. It is part of the Rt.20 Road Challenge Series and is a USATF sanctioned, certified 5K. The event notes it will mark its 29th year in 2026.
Course, awards and registration
The course is described as mainly flat with a few rolling hills. Proceeds benefit the Eaton Fire Department and the Stephanie Baron Memorial Fund. Trophies are awarded to the overall male and female winners, and ribbons are given three deep in age groups for male and female finishers. T-shirts are provided to pre-registered entrants only. Course record times listed are 16:15 (2020) and 19:01 (2011).
