Easter Egg 5K & 10K
The Easter Egg 5K & 10K is an annual running event held at the Southcreek Office Park in Overland Park, Kansas. The event offers several participation options involving different distances and formats:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- Lil' Bunny Fun Run (for children aged 8 and younger)
- Virtual 5K
The courses consist of a route through the office park area. Participants in the 5 km and 10 km distances receive a unique finisher medal upon completion. Recognition is provided for top performers, including awards for the top overall male and female, as well as the top masters male and female ages 40 and over. Age group awards are also distributed to the top three finishers in various categories, ranging from youth divisions to those aged 80 and older.
Amenities at the event include post-race food and beverages. The Easter bunny is present on-site during the festivities. Participants have the option to purchase a short-sleeve event shirt for an additional fee. A portion of the registrations proceeds is donated to Cornerstones of Care, an organization providing behavioral healthcare and support services to children and families.
Registration fees are non-refundable and vary based on the date of entry. Packet pickup is scheduled on the day prior to the race at a designated location.
