The course for the event is an AIMS measured 10.55 km loop. Race bibs are available at check-in on race morning at the start/finish area; bibs are not mailed. All finishers of every distance receive a finisher medal. If registration is extended, some finishers may receive a generic finisher medal instead of the fully engraved event medal. A trophy is awarded to the runner or walker judged to best represent the BUNNY theme.

Part proceeds from the event go to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation. Registration normally closes three days before the event unless an extension is announced. Registered participants receive an event email with relevant details a few days before the race. The event is organised by coastalfunruns.
