Eastbourne to Hastings Pier2Peer 2027
The Pier2Peer challenge on 17 April 2027 follows the route between Eastbourne Pier and Hastings Pier. Participants can walk, run or cycle sections of the coastal route, which is mainly along promenades with a short stretch of road and pavement.
There are multiple distance options:
- 25 km walk/run Eastbourne to Hastings Pier
- 25 km cycle Eastbourne to Hastings Pier with a 50 km return option
- 10 km walk/run Eastbourne Pier to Sovereign Harbour and return
Entry is listed at £15. Participants are asked to raise at least a further £25 in sponsorship where possible. A child entry option is listed with a medal cost of £6. All profits from Pier2Peer are stated to go to The WayfinderWoman Trust. The charity is noted as a recipient of the Queens Award for Voluntary Service and supports women through 1-2-1 peer support, group support and the Hidden Voices project.
Organisers note the event is open to all and that people may take part solo or as a team. Fundraising is supported through a partnership with JustGiving. An environmentally friendly medal is provided to participants at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
