Eastbound's Christmas in July 5K
Eastbound's Christmas in July 5K is a community 5K held on July 25, 2026 at Lindo Lake County Park in Lakeside, CA. The event is the second annual 5K and will donate 100% of profits to Lakeside Union School District Student Support to benefit local students and families. The presentation partner is NXPT fitness and the post-race gathering is at Eastbound Bar & Grill. The event has a Christmas in July theme and wearing Santa gear is encouraged.
All race courses are 3.2 Miles. The program includes competitive men’s and women’s races plus family fun runs for two age groups: children aged 2 to 8 and participants aged 8 and older. Registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes July 25, 2026. Fees listed for the events include $35 for competitive entries and the older family category, and $15 for the younger family category.
Organizers recommend pre-race bib pickup to ease morning logistics; pickup is available at Eastbound Bar and Grill on the days before the race and at Lindo Lake Park Community Center on race day morning. The starting line is located to the right of the Lakeside Community Center at Lindo Lake County Park.
