Eastbound's Christmas in July 5K
Eastbound's Christmas in July 5K is an inaugural fundraising event located in Lakeside, California. The race is organized to support the local East County community, with all profits designated for the Lakeside Union School District Student Support program. These funds provide assistance to students and families in the local area.
The event features several categories for participants:
- 5K - Mens Competitive Run (3.2 Miles)
- 5K - Womens Competitive Run (3.2 Miles)
- 5K - Family Fun Run for ages 8 and older (3.2 Miles)
- 5K - Family Fun Run for ages 2 to 8 (3.2 Miles)
The course is located at Lindo Lake County Park, with the starting line situated near the Lakeside Community Center on Vine Street. Participants can access the venue via I-8 East and CA-67 North. Parking is available at Lindo Lake County Park, with overflow options provided at Lindo Park Elementary School and the dirt lot behind Mary’s Donuts on Maine Avenue.
Registration includes a branded tote bag with various items. The first 100 individuals to register also receive a custom T-shirt. Bib and gear pickup occurs at Eastbound Bar & Grill on specific days leading up to the event, as well as at the community center on the morning of the race.
