Event overview

The East Midlands London Mini Marathon Trials take place on Saturday, 11 April 2026 at The Herewoode Academy cycle track, Leicester, postcode LE3 6RJ. The trials cover athletes from the East Midlands counties: Lincolnshire; Derbyshire; Nottinghamshire; Leicestershire and Rutland; and Northamptonshire. Each race distance is approximately 2.6k and is not officially measured. The races are held for selection purposes only. The first six finishers in each race qualify.

Races and entries

Races are organised by gender within three age categories: Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18. The published entry fee is £10.50 plus a £1.00 fee. Entry closes on 9 April 2026.
