East Coast 10k
The East Coast 10 km takes place on 1 November 2026 in Great Yarmouth. Licence no 30068.
The route runs along Great Yarmouth Promenade. It is completely flat, traffic free and noted as having pb potential. The course uses a different start, finish and route to the five mile races. Race HQ is at the Marina Centre leisure centre on Marine Parade NR30 2ER. The start and finish area is at Anchor Gardens and is no more than a two minute walk from Race HQ.
Toilet facilities will be available and nearby council owned toilet blocks will also be open. There is no bag drop but lockers are available at the leisure centre. In November there are no parking charges on the road and there are ample car parks along the sea front. The route crosses car parks and follows the Landau used by cyclists and pedestrians, so headphones are not permitted and runners should follow marshal instructions. Marshals will be present along the course.
All finishers receive a medal and a race memento. Awards will be presented on the day for winners, age categories and teams. Minimum age is 15. A foodbank collection point will be on site; the previous collection resulted in 600 items handed over to foodbanks. One pound from every entry is donated to Heart 2 Heart to support public defibrillators and community CPR and defibrillator training.
Entry options include affiliated and unaffiliated prices with a no medal option that carries a one pound reduction. Entries are non refundable and cannot be deferred, but transfers to another runner are permitted until midnight on 24 October 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
