East Coast 10k
The East Coast 10 km takes place on 1 November 2026 in Great Yarmouth. Licence no 30068.
The course is completely flat and traffic free on Great Yarmouth Promenade and is described as having personal best potential. The route, start and finish differ from the 5 mile races. Race headquarters is at the Marina Centre leisure centre on Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth NR30 2ER. The start and finish area is at Anchor Gardens, about a two minute walk from race HQ.
Toilet facilities will be available and nearby council owned toilet blocks will be open. As the event is in November there are no parking charges on the road and there are ample car parks along the seafront. There will be no bag drop but the leisure centre has lockers; updates on car park, toilet and locker fees will be provided in the race information before the day.
Entry options include an affiliated entry and an unaffiliated entry, each with a no medal option at a £1 lower fee. Standard entries include a finisher medal and a race memento. A presentation of awards will be held on the day for winners, age categories and teams. Entries are non refundable and cannot be deferred; transfers to another runner are available until midnight on 24/10/2026.
The event has a foodbank collection point; last year 600 items were handed over. One pound from every entry is donated to Heart 2 Heart to fund public defibrillators and community CPR and defibrillator training. Minimum age is 15. The route crosses car parks and uses the Landau used by cyclists and pedestrians so headphones are not permitted and marshals will be on duty.
