East Baton Rouge JROTC Patriot Day Color Run/Walk
The East Baton Rouge School District JROTC will host the Patriot Day Color Run/Walk on September 12, 2026 at Broadmoor Senior High School, 10100 Goodwood Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815.
The event provides running and walking options as a community occasion for reflection, unity, and support for youth leadership and civic engagement. Participants of all ages may run, walk, or cheer along the route. Distances offered include:
- 3.1 Miles Patriot Day 5K Run
- 1.24 Miles Patriot Day 2K Walk
Registration windows and fees are listed as follows: early bird March 9 to July 20, $30; standard July 21 to August 31, $35; late September 1 to September 12, $40. Participants who register by August 20 are guaranteed a t-shirt.
All proceeds will benefit JROTC program initiatives and academic scholarships, supporting cadet development in discipline, leadership, and academic activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
