East Atlanta Runs - The Strut 5K
The East Atlanta Strut 5K on September 26, 2026 takes place in East Atlanta Village in Atlanta, Georgia. The course covers 3.1 miles through the neighborhood and starts and ends in the business district.
The route runs over hilly streets of East Atlanta. Neighborhood residents are expected to line parts of the course and provide support to participants. The event is open to both runners and walkers.
The race is part of the East Atlanta Strut festival and is organized to raise funds for local organizations. Proceeds support groups including East Atlanta Kids Club, Georgia Works, and Intown Cares through the East Atlanta Business Association.
An Athlete's Village will be available after the event with entertainment, snacks, drinks, and a post race mimosa for participants. Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes August 7, 2026.
