About the race
The East Atlanta Strut 5K is a neighborhood road race held during the East Atlanta Strut festival on 09/26/2026 in East Atlanta Village, 1231 Glenwood Avenue SE, Atlanta, GA 30316, USA. The course covers 3.1 miles through the hilly streets of East Atlanta and starts and finishes in the business district. Neighborhood residents provide roadside support and cheers along the route.
The event welcomes both runners and walkers. An Athlete's Village after the race provides entertainment, snacks, and drinks, and each participant receives a post-race mimosa. Proceeds from the event are directed to local organizations, including East Atlanta Kids Club, and support has been provided to Georgia Works and Intown Cares through the East Atlanta Business Association.
