Event overview

The Eagle 5K & Fit Family Fun Day is scheduled for Sunday, February 1, 2026 in Miami, FL (33177). This is the 12th annual presentation of the event. The in-person program includes a timed 5K Run/Walk and a Fit Family Fun Day at the Zoo. The event benefits SJNCS Athletics. Registered in-person participants receive zoo admission. Ages 2 and under are free and strollers are welcome. 5K participants will receive a performance t-shirt when registered early and all in-person 5K finishers receive a commemorative finisher's medal. The Eagle 5K Virtual Run/Walk is offered as a week-long alternative; virtual participants receive a commemorative finisher's certificate.

Registration and packet pick-up

Listed entry fees are $45 for the Eagle 5K & Fit Family Fun Day, $35 for Fit Family Fun Day (entrance only, no 5K), and $30 for the Eagle 5K Virtual Run/Walk. Prices for the in-person events increase after January 31, 2026. Virtual registration closes February 1, 2026. Packet pick up is available at St. John Neumann Catholic School on Field Day on Friday, January 30 (morning session). Additional packet pick up is scheduled at a running store (TBD) on Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31. The on-site family activities include bounce houses and food options.
