Eagle 5K & Fit Family Fun Day : event overview

The Eagle 5K & Fit Family Fun Day takes place on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Miami, FL (33177). This is the 12th annual edition. The event includes a timed 5K run/walk, an on-site Fit Family Fun Day (entrance only option), and an Eagle 5K Virtual Run/Walk. Proceeds benefit SJNCS Athletics. Registered participants receive zoo admission for the day. Ages 2 and under are free and strollers are welcome. 5K participants are offered a performance t-shirt and all in-person 5K finishers receive a commemorative finisher's medal. Virtual participants receive a commemorative finisher's certificate. On-site family activities are listed to include bounce houses and food options.

Registration, fees and packet pick-up

Published entry fees are $45 for the in-person Eagle 5K & Fit Family Fun Day, $35 for Fit Family Fun Day (entrance only), and $30 for the Eagle 5K Virtual Run/Walk. In-person entry fees increase after January 31, 2026. Virtual registration closes on February 1, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. Packet pick-up is listed at St. John Neumann Catholic School on Field Day on Friday, January 30 (morning session). Additional packet pick-up locations and times include a running store (to be determined) with sessions on Friday, January 30 (afternoon) and Saturday, January 31 (midday).
