Event overview
The Fourth Annual DVUSD 5k & 1-Mile Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Sandra Day O’Connor High School in Phoenix, AZ. The event is open to DVUSD employees, students, friends, family members, and community members. DVUSD employees receive 5,000 WellStyles points for participating. Entry for each event is listed at $10.

- 1-mile Walk
Only 5K participants will receive a timing bib and will be officially timed and eligible for awards. The 1-mile Walk will not be timed. Medals will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in these age divisions: 13 and under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+.
Participants who register by Friday, January 12 will receive a T-shirt. 5K bibs and T-shirts are available for pickup at the Health Fair at the District Office on January 23. Two additional activities precede the main events: a Blow-Up Costume Dash and a Kids Dash for children 10 and under. The Kids Dash is a very short sprint and is expected to take about 10 minutes for all children to participate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
