DVUSD 5K Fun Run & 1 Mile Walk
The event is a community run and walk at Sandra Day O’Connor High School in Phoenix, AZ. Two main entries are offered:
- 5K : 3.1 miles, officially timed and eligible for awards.
- 1 Mile Walk : untimed, no bib required.
The event is open to DVUSD employees, students, friends, family members, and community members. DVUSD employees who participate earn 5,000 WellStyles points. Registration opens on 9/14/2026 and closes on 2/20/2027; the registration fee is $10.00.
Participants who register by February 4 will receive a T-shirt; 5K participants registered by that date will also receive a timing bib. T-shirts and 5K bibs will be available for pick-up the morning of the event during check-in. Participants who register after February 4 will not receive a T-shirt.
Additional on-site activities include a Blow-Up Costume Dash and a Kids Dash for children 10 and under; neither requires prior registration. A Health Fair will run during the event offering health and wellness resources. Pets are not permitted; service animals only. Medals will be presented to the first, second, and third place male and female finishers in each listed age division. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
