DV8K Life Changing Run

The DV8K Life Changing Run takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky. The event raises funds for the DV8 Kitchen Vocational Training Foundation Employee Success Program, which supports employing and empowering people in early stages of addiction recovery.

Event distances include:

• 8K (4.97 miles)
• 4K (2.5 miles)
• Kids quarter mile dash
• Virtual 4K or 8K option

The signature 8K is a chip timed double loop course around the Keeneland grounds restricted to runners who can maintain a 15 minute per mile pace; awards are given to the Top 3 male and female overall and to age group winners in five year divisions, three deep. The chip timed 4K is open to runners and walkers, and strollers are welcomed; awards are presented to the Top 3 male and female overall. The kids quarter mile dash is untimed; participants receive a commemorative shirt and a kid's medal and parents may run or walk with their children.

Virtual registrants receive a mailed race packet that includes a bib, race shirt, and a DV8 coupon and may complete a 4K or 8K on their own timeline. Packet pickup is available Thursday, August 13 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the DV8 Kitchen East End location, with race day pickup at Keeneland from 6:45 to 7:45 am. Race production features chip timing by RaceRise, a DJ, commemorative shirts while supplies last, post-race food from DV8 Kitchen, and a Thursday pickup goodie bag with a coupon for a complimentary cinnamon roll or breakfast sandwich.

Teams of five or more receive a per-person savings structure: the first four registrants pay full price, the fifth and any subsequent members pay the registration fee minus three dollars, and when the fifth registrant joins the first four receive a three dollar refund.
