Dutchess County Classic 2026

The Dutchess County Classic takes place over race weekend September 19 and 20, 2026. Registration for the 2026 event is open.

The event is split across two days. Saturday features a Kids 1k Fun Run and a 5k at Robinson Lane Park in Wappingers Falls, New York. Sunday includes a 10k and a half marathon in Poughkeepsie, held on the William R. Steinhaus Dutchess Rail Trail and the Walkway Over the Hudson, with race activities associated with Dutchess Community College.

All courses are described as flat and scenic, passing farmland and offering views of the Hudson River. Each race is professionally timed and takes place on USATF certified courses.

The Dutchess County Classic is organized by the Mid Hudson Road Runners Club, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports running and fitness in the Hudson Valley.
