Dutchess County Classic 2026
The Dutchess County Classic is a two-day road race weekend scheduled for September 19-20, 2026 in Dutchess County, New York. Events are held in Wappingers Falls and Poughkeepsie and use local parks and the Dutchess Rail Trail.
Race distances include:
- Kids 1k Fun Run
- 5k road race
- 10k on the rail trail
- Half marathon
The 5k and Kids 1k take place on Robinson Lane in Wappingers Falls. The 10k and Half Marathon take place on the William R. Steinhaus Dutchess Rail Trail and Walkway Over the Hudson in Poughkeepsie, with event activities associated with Dutchess Community College.
All courses are described as flat and scenic, passing farmland and views of the Hudson River. Each race is professionally timed and the courses are USATF certified. Registration for 2026 is open and an early entry fee of $25 applies to the first 350 registrants.
