Durant Dusk Hustle 1 Mile and 5K Run/walk
The Durant Dusk Hustle takes place on August 14, 2026 at Durant City Park, with activities centered at Jaycee Park. The event offers multiple distances and a youth run, all held within the Durant city limits.

Course details note that the start and finish are at Jaycee Park. The 1 Mile route begins at 10th Avenue, turns left onto 8th Street, continues to the school and returns on 8th Street before finishing on 10th Avenue. The 5K follows a mapped route through local streets including 10th Avenue, 8th Street, 12th Avenue, 3rd Avenue, 7th Street, 13th Avenue, 6th Street, 9th Avenue and a cul de sac before returning to 10th Avenue for the finish.
Registration fees are listed for each distance and a T shirt is available for an additional fee with a guaranteed T shirt date noted. Packet pickup and race day registration are located near the baseball diamond at Jaycee Park; T shirts at race day registration are subject to availability. A participation waiver is required on site for the Kids Block Run.
Awards and refreshments are provided. One mile overall winners receive carnival ride tickets. Five kilometer overall winners receive a special prize and medal. Age group medals are awarded for 5K first through third places across specified age groups. Proceeds benefit the Durant Cross Country Association.
