About the race

The CBRC Chili Chase takes place on February 28, 2027, at Duck Creek Park Lodge in Davenport, Iowa. The event features running and walking divisions that follow a loop course through Duck Creek Park, nearby neighborhoods, and a bike path, returning to the lodge. The program is chip timed.

Distances offered:

4 Miles run
4 Miles walk (participants must walk for the entire race in this division)

Awards are given to Overall Male and Female, Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Grand Masters, with additional awards for the top 40 male and female finishers and the top 20 walkers. The first 350 pre-registered participants receive specially designed DeFeet CoolMax running socks. Post-race provisions include chili, snacks, fruit, cookies, and beverages. Participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for donation to a local food pantry or charity.

Packet pickup is available at the CBRC office on February 27 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Race day registration takes place at Duck Creek Park Lodge; race day entry fee is $40.
