42nd Sherry Fitzgerald Reynolds Dungarvan 10K
The Sherry Fitzgerald Reynolds Dungarvan 10K is a road race organised by West Waterford Athletic Club in its 42nd year. The event covers a distance of 10 km and is described as one of the older races on the local road running calendar.
The race will use the same course as in 2025. The route starts and finishes at the Industrial Estate just off the N25. The organiser states the event is part of the club’s annual programme of road races and that the Reynolds family at Sherry Fitzgerald Reynolds are the race sponsor.
Prizes are awarded to the top three men and the top three ladies. Additional prizes include first place in the following categories for men: junior, over 40, over 45, over 50 and over 60, plus first men’s team. For ladies the additional prizes include first junior and first in the over 35, over 40, over 45 and over 50 categories, plus first ladies team.

West Waterford Athletic Club was founded in 1994, contains juvenile and adult sections, and formed from the amalgamation of Cappoquin/Ballinameela A.C., Dungarvan A.C. and Ring/Old Parish A.C.
