Dunfermline City Auld Toun 10K
Dunfermline City Auld Toun 10K is a community running event organised by Dunfermline City Running Festival (DCRF) and scheduled for 07 June 2026. The field is limited to 500 entries and the entry fee is £25. Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferable; entrants must be aged 16 or over. The event is currently full and a waiting list is available.
The route passes through Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline's Heritage Quarter, and Dunfermline Public Park, finishing at St. Catherine’s Wynd beside Dunfermline Abbey. Distance markers are placed at kilometre intervals. A water station and course toilets are available at Viewfield Terrace Car Park. The event will be chip timed and results provided by the timing partner Eventful.
Registration takes place in the Glen Pavilion and participants receive a chipped bib that must be visible at the front; emergency contact details and any medical information should be written on the back of the bib. Registration can be used for kit storage but items are left at the participant's risk. First aid teams will be present and anyone withdrawing must report to the nearest marshal. For safety reasons only bone conducting headphones are allowed.
Prizes will be awarded for top finishers in male and female open and veteran categories. All participants receive a finisher bag and a bespoke finisher's medal. Surplus proceeds will support an expanded Running Festival in 2027 and DCRF encourages fundraising for nominated local charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
