Life Style Sports Dundalk Half Marathon & 10K
The event offers two measured road race distances and is organised on a fully marshalled closed-road course through Dundalk town and surrounding open terrain. The course is certified and uses chip timing; Half Marathon competitors run two laps of the 10 km loop while 10K entrants complete one lap. The start is located on Francis Street and the finish on Earl Street.
Entry includes a finisher’s medal and finish-line refreshments. Bag drop is provided at Market Square and opens before the race. There are water stations at approximately 5 km, 11 km and 16 km, and toilets at the start/finish and around 5 km and 16 km. The course is wheelchair accessible. Showers and changing facilities are not provided.
A strict cut-off time of 3.5 hours applies for the Half Marathon; participants outside this time will be moved to the footpaths. Pacers are available for the Half Marathon at organised target times. Race numbers are posted to many domestic entrants before the event; late or overseas entries must collect numbers at designated collection sessions. Entries are non-refundable but name changes and distance changes are usually accommodated before numbers are allocated. A one-day Athletics Ireland licence is required for those without annual membership. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
