Duluth Trails Festival
The Duluth Trails Festival is a three day mountain biking and trail running event in Duluth, Minnesota, held August 7–9, 2026 at 8551 Grand Avenue and Spirit Mountain. The schedule groups a wide range of mountain bike formats and Summit North running events across the weekend.
Mountain bike formats include downhill, enduro, cross country, trick jam sessions, and youth XC. Specific race formats and features described by the organizer include:
- enduro races with timed downhill stages in beginner, intermediate (4 stages), and advanced (7 stages) formats
- downhill competitions on technical gravity trails with jumps, rock gardens, gap jumps, wide berms, and a signature steep feature with an optional 5 foot drop; full face helmets are required for the advanced downhill race
- Chainless Downhill that requires riders to carry speed without pedaling and encourages costumes
- cross country courses following the Duluth Traverse with sustained climbs and singletrack mileage
- a hands on SRAM suspension clinic covering suspension fundamentals, sag setup, and on trail rebound tuning
