Event Overview

The Dukes 5k & Fun Run is a fundraising event hosted by the Wellington High School Track and Field team. It is the sixth annual edition of the event. The theme for this year is "Heroes and Villains."

Events

The event consists of two parts:

A timed 5k race.
A 1 mile Fun Run.

Course Details

The 5k starts on the track at the Wellington Dukes football stadium. Participants leave the stadium, loop through the town area, and finish back on the track. A course map is available via Strava. The 1 mile Fun Run consists of four laps around the stadium track and begins after the 5k participants have left the stadium area.

Participant Information

All participants receive a "Heroes and Villains" finisher T-shirt and a custom finisher medal. Awards are presented for the overall male and female winner, as well as for winners in multiple age groups for both men and women. Day-of-race registration is available at the venue.
