Dukes 5k & Fun Run
The Dukes 5k & Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Wellington, Ohio. The event is organized by the Wellington High School Track and Field team and takes place at the Wellington Dukes football stadium, 398 Dickson St, Wellington, OH 44090. Registration opens January 1, 2026; entry fees listed are $30 for the 5k and $25 for the Fun Run. Day-of, in-person registration is available for $30.
Events and course
- 5k : Starts on the track, leaves the stadium, loops around town, and finishes back on the track. The 5k is a timed race. Overall male and female winners and age group winners will receive awards presented after the race in the field house. Age groups (male and female): 13 and under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up.
- 1 mile : A Fun Run consisting of 4 laps around the track; it starts after 5k runners leave the stadium area.
The event theme is "Heros and Villains." All participants receive a themed Dukes 5k finisher T-shirt and a custom Dukes 5k finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
