Dukes 5k and Fun Run
The Dukes 5k and Fun Run is a community fundraiser organized by the Wellington High School Track and Field team at the Wellington Dukes football stadium in Wellington, Ohio (398 Dickson St, 44090). The event is scheduled for March 2027 and uses the school track as the focal point for both courses.

- 5k Run/Walk - 3.1 miles
- Fun Run - 1 mile, four laps on the track
The 5k is a timed race that starts on the track, leaves the stadium to loop around the surrounding area, and finishes back on the track. The 1-mile Fun Run takes place on the track and follows shortly after 5k runners depart the stadium area. All participants receive a themed finisher T-shirt and a custom finisher medal marked "Heroes and Villains."
Registration opens December 31, 2026 and closes March 20, 2027. The listed registration fees are $30 for the 5k and $25 for the Fun Run; in-person registration on the day of the event is noted for a $30 fee. Awards for overall male and female winners and for age-group winners will be presented after the race in the field house. Age groups for male and female competitors include 13 and under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
