Dukes 5k & Fun Run
The Dukes 5k & Fun Run takes place on March 21, 2026 in Wellington, Ohio, at the Wellington Dukes football stadium, 398 Dickson St. The event is the sixth annual running of this fundraiser hosted by the Wellington High School Track and Field team.
The program includes these distances:
- 5k Run/Walk
- 1 mile Fun Run
The 5k is a timed race that starts on the track, leaves the stadium, follows a loop around town, and finishes back on the track. The 1 mile Fun Run consists of four laps around the track and begins after the 5k runners leave the stadium area. All participants receive a themed "Heroes and Villains" Dukes 5k finisher T-shirt and a custom Dukes 5k finisher medal.
Awards are presented after the race in the field house for overall male and female winners and for the following male and female age groups: 13 and under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and up. Entry fees listed for the events include a price of $30 for the 5k and $25 for the Fun Run; in-person day of registration is noted as available for $30.
