Dukes 5k & Fun Run

The Dukes 5k & Fun Run is a community fundraising event hosted by the Wellington High School Track and Field team at the Wellington Dukes stadium, located at 398 Dickson St, Wellington, OH 44090. The event uses a Heroes and Villains theme.

The program includes two running options:

5k Run/Walk
Fun Run, one mile

The 5k course starts on the track, leaves the stadium, loops around the town and finishes back on the track. The one mile Fun Run consists of four laps around the track and begins after the 5k runners leave the stadium area. The 5k is a timed race. Overall male and female winners and age group winners are announced after the race in the field house.

All participants receive a themed Dukes 5k finisher T-shirt and a custom Dukes 5k finisher medal. Event fees are listed as $30 for the 5k and $25 for the Fun Run; in-person registration on race day is available for $30. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
