Dukeries 30 / 40
The event is a single loop trail ultramarathon based in Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire. The route is largely on forest trails and footpaths and passes lodges, Creswell Crags, the Welbeck Estate, Clumber Park, farmland and the Thoresby Estate. The 40 mile route also passes the Major Oak.
The course is fully marked and marshalled so no navigation beyond common sense is required. Basic refreshments are provided at regular intervals and at the finish. All finishers receive a medal unless they opt out. Entrants may purchase a T-shirt or choose to plant a tree.

- 30.8 miles single lap
- 40.8 miles single lap
- Minimum age 20 or older
- Generous cut off of 10.5 hours to complete the course
- Dogs and canicross welcome, limited to 20 canicross runners
- No pacers allowed and no drop bags permitted
- The event closes once full and may use a waiting list
