Dukeries 30 / 40

The Dukeries 30 / 40 is an annual trail running event held in Nottinghamshire, starting in the heart of Sherwood Forest. It offers two distances: 30.8 and 40.8 miles, both following mostly forest trails, footpaths, and minor roads. The scenic circular routes pass through historic and picturesque locations including Cresswell Crags, Welbeck Estate, Clumber Park, and the Thoresby Estate, with the 40-mile race featuring a passage by the famous Major Oak.

The course is well-marked and supported with aid stations, making it suitable for both new trail runners and experienced ultra runners. The event is limited to 250 runners and excludes walkers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
