Event overview

The DUbliNDEE Kilted 5K Race and Fun Walk is scheduled for March 7, 2026 in East Dundee, IL (60118). It is an in-person 5K run and walk held the morning of the St. Patrick's Parade in Dundee. The route starts at Lifeline Plumbing, Heating & Cooling (296 Williams Place) and runs parallel to the Fox River along Duncan/Elgin Ave. Proceeds benefit the F.I.S.H. Food Pantry and Friends of the Fox River.

Logistics and fees

Entry fees are tiered: $40 prior to February 1, $50 prior to March 1, and $60 for registrations on or after March 1, 2026. Youth pricing is $25 for ages 17 and under; children age 5 and under are free. Entry fees are non-refundable. The first 400 registrations receive a gift bag that includes breakfast, a drink afterward, a t-shirt, and other giveaways. Kilts will be available for purchase for $10; participants who have a previous kilt are encouraged to wear it and green paraphernalia is commonly worn. Packets for pre-registered runners are available for pickup on Friday, March 6 at Lifeline Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, 296 Williams Place, East Dundee. Race day registration is available.
