Dublin Pub One Mile Run
The Dublin Pub One Mile Run is a running event held in the Oregon District of Dayton, Ohio, as part of a St. Patrick's Day celebration. The event utilizes a course through Downtown Dayton and offers two distinct ways to participate in the 1 mile distance. Participants must be at least 21 years of age and show a valid ID for entry. Due to safety and venue requirements, pets and strollers are not permitted on the course.
The event features two participation options:
- Timed One Mile: A competitive, timed race for those looking to record a specific finish time.
- The Longest Mile: A non-timed version of the course that includes five stops at local venues in the Oregon District, such as Oregon Express, Ned Peppers, and Blind Bob's.
Registered participants receive various amenities including an event shirt (subject to registration deadlines), a finisher medal that functions as a bottle opener, sunglasses, and beads. Registration also provides entry into the Dublin Pub on specific dates during the festival weekend. Participants in both categories are expected to maintain a pace of at least 20 minutes per mile. Results for the timed event are updated as participants cross the finish line and are accessible via a mobile application. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
