Dublin Pet Fair 5K Race
The Dublin Pet Fair 5K Race takes place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the Dublin Rec Center, 5600 Post Rd, Dublin, OH 43017. The event is a 5K road race sponsored by Pet Palace and organized in partnership with USA Race Timing and Event Management. The race starts and finishes at the Dublin Rec Center and follows a course through Indian Run Meadows Park with a turning point at the ML Red Trabue Nature Reserve. Entry fee is $25 and registration opens January 20, 2026.
Purpose and on-site activities
The event aims to raise awareness of animal welfare organizations in Ohio, promote adoption of shelter and rescue pets, and support spay/neuter efforts; proceeds will be used for spay/neuter programs. Rescue groups and shelters will bring adoptable pets. Pet-related vendors and sponsors will showcase products and services. Additional activities include demonstrations by the Southern Ohio Flying K9s, pet races, a pet parade, food trucks, raffles and items for sale. A wellness clinic run by the Rascal Unit will offer vaccinations, microchips and preventative care; the first 50 microchips will be provided free through a donation from Pet FBI.
