Dublin Pet Fair 5K Race
The Dublin Pet Fair 5K Race is an annual community event sponsored by Pet Palace and partnered with USA Race Timing and Event Management. The race starts and ends at the Dublin Rec Center and follows a course through Indian Run Meadows Park with a turning point at the ML Red Trabue Nature Reserve.
The event aims to raise awareness of animal welfare organizations in Ohio, promote adoption of shelter and rescue pets, and showcase animal related vendors and sponsors. Proceeds are designated for spay and neuter efforts to address pet overpopulation.
Rescue organizations and shelters will bring adoptable pets. Pet related businesses and organizations will display products and services. The Southern Ohio Flying K9s will present demonstrations, and there will be pet races and a pet parade. A wellness clinic will offer vaccinations, microchips and preventative care at an affordable price. The first 50 microchips will be provided free through a donation from Pet FBI. Additional features include food trucks, raffles and items for sale.
