Course and rules

The courses run inside Jonathan Dickinson State Park and cross more than 11,000 acres. The route passes through 16 named natural communities, including prairie wetlands and named dune areas described as the Dunes of Heaven and Hell. The terrain includes soft, rolling sugar sand dunes.
