This event takes place at Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Hobe Sound, FL, near 16450 S.E. Federal Highway. The race program includes multiple distances and a kids free fun run on the same day.

The courses pass through 16 distinct natural communities across more than 11,000 acres. Named landscape features on the routes include prairie wetlands and areas called the Dunes of Heaven and Hell. Portions of the route run over soft, rolling sugar sand dunes that affect footing and pace.
