Droitwich Half and Quarter Marathon
The event takes place on Sunday 13 June 2027 and is organised by Droitwich Athletics Club. Both races start and finish at Churchfields Farm Shop, Salwarpe, Droitwich WR9 0AH.
The programme offers two distances:
- Half Marathon
- Quarter Marathon
The course follows undulating road lanes on the outskirts of Droitwich Spa. Race headquarters and start/finish are at Churchfields Farm, where visitors can use the café and ice cream shop. Free parking is available and car park marshals will direct vehicles; the distance to the start is about a 50 m walk.
Age rules follow England Athletics guidance: entrants must be over 16 for the Quarter Marathon and over 17 for the Half Marathon. There is a cut-off time of three hours; marshals and timekeepers will be withdrawn at 12:15. Water stations are provided at 4 km and 11 km on the Half Marathon, and at 5 km on the Quarter Marathon.
Finishers receive a medal and a finishers gift. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers in each race. In-ear and over-ear headphones are not permitted during the races; bone conduction headphones are allowed. Entry fees vary by date and membership status, and on-the-day entries may be available if the races are not sold out. Refunds are not normally offered; options apply in the case of postponement or cancellation. Swaps of race places can be arranged through the entry system or the event organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
