Dreams Come True 5K - event details
The event offers two distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
Both courses start and finish at UNF Coxwell Amphitheater. The race will be timed using the Race Results Timing Chip System. 5K participants receive a race t-shirt and an official race bag. All finishers receive a medal.
Entry fees vary by date. For the 5K the fees are $35 through June 30, $40 from July 1 to September 3, and $45 from September 4 and on race day. The one mile fee is $25 through June 30 and $30 thereafter, including race day. There are no refunds.
Packet pickup is available at the selected 1st Place Sports location on Friday, September 12 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM; all packets will be moved to the race site for race day pick up beginning one hour before the race. Packet pickup locations include 3931 Baymeadows Road (corner of San Jose Blvd), 2018 San Marco Blvd in San Marco Square, 424 South 3rd Street in Jacksonville Beach, and 2220 CR 210 West near Interstate 95. Packets may also be picked up at the race site on race day starting at 7 AM.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall, the top masters male and female, and the top three finishers in multiple age divisions from 10 and under through 80 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
