DRC's 3 x 2 Relay
DRC's 3 x 2 Relay is a cross country team relay held at Norbuck Park in Dallas, TX. The event is a trail run and the course is not paved. Teams consist of three runners; each team member completes the Norbuck Loop once, with each loop about 2 miles, for a total of roughly 6 miles. Runners pass a baton between teammates to complete the three loops.
The event uses a Neon 90s theme. Entry is free for club members and costs $20 for non-members. There is no race day registration, though assistance is available to help find teammates. Baton pick-up occurs on race morning at Norbuck Park. Awards are given to the Top Five Teams and to the Top Three Best Costumes. The course is not pet friendly due to insurance restrictions and strollers are not permitted because the route is on trails. Parking is available at Norbuck and Flag Pole Hill. To allow free or reduced entry for members, the event does not provide race shirts or finisher medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
