Draycote Water Running Festival - 17 July 2027
The Draycote Water Running Festival takes place at Draycote Water Visitor Centre near Rugby on 17 July 2027. The event is set around a 240-hectare reservoir and country park and features waterside routes with open views and scenic paths.
Distances
- Half Marathon - Out & back and 2 laps, elev gain 117 m
- 10K - Out & back and 1 lap
- 5K - Out & back only
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and a bag drop. The full course uses tarmac paths for the entire route. There are two water stations on the 10K and Half Marathon routes and bottled water at the finish. The overall cut-off for all distances is 1pm.
Event services include an event village with food, drink and finish-line refreshments, toilets, and a baggage marquee. Race parking is in a field about a 20 minute walk to the event village; Rugby is the nearest train station and is approximately a 20 minute taxi or a 40 to 60 minute journey by local buses. Minimum ages are 17 for the Half Marathon, 15 for the 10K and 11 for the 5K. Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome; dogs are not permitted for runners or spectators.
