Draycote Water Running Festival
Draycote Water Running Festival takes place on Saturday 15 May 2027 at Draycote Water country park and reservoir near Rugby. The event returns to the calendar after a break while venue building works took place and is set across a 240-hectare waterside site.
The programme offers several race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
The route runs alongside the reservoir and through parkland. Each kilometre is marked with distance signage, and marshals are positioned around the course to guide and encourage participants. Results are chip timed.
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos and post-race goodies. An event village provides food and drink options and partners supply additional free items at the finish. An event t-shirt is available at a discounted price when purchased with entry via the organiser’s partner RT Kit.
Organisers state they have been researching runner priorities and identify sustainability as a growing focus for their events.
