Drakes Island Road Race 2026
The Drakes Island Road Race in Wells, Maine is scheduled for July 18, 2026, at Drakes Island Beach. The event program includes a traditional 5K race and a Kids Fun Run. The 5K follows the traditional course from the Jetty Parking lot to the Community House. The Kids Fun Run is an untimed event of about one third of a mile that also starts at the Jetty and finishes at the Community House, running up the hill and turning left onto Maple Street.
Registration for the 5K and the Kids Fun Run includes a race bib and a shirt. The 5K registration listed price is $39.44 and the Kids Fun Run listed price is $23.39. Pre-race bib and shirt pickup is held at the Community House, located at 8 Maple St, on Friday, July 17, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. After the races, runners and supporters are invited to post-race refreshments at the Community House.
