Drakes Island Road Race 2026
The event takes place at Drakes Island Beach in Wells, Maine, and offers a main 5K road race plus a short kids fun run. The kids event is untimed and covers approximately one third of a mile from the Jetty to the Community House. Post-race refreshments will be available at the Community House for runners and their supporters.

- 5K: traditional course from Jetty Parking lot to Community House
- Kids Fun Run: untimed, about 1/3 mile from Jetty to Community House
The 5K follows the traditional course starting at the Jetty Parking lot and finishing at the Community House. The kids course starts at the same Jetty Parking lot, runs up the hill, turns left on Maple Street, and finishes at the Community House. Race registration for the 5K includes a long sleeve t-shirt and a race bib; kids registration includes a short sleeve t-shirt and a race bib. Pre-race bib and shirt pickup is scheduled at the Community House (8 Maple St) on the day before the race.
