Dragon Dash 5k - New Palestine
The Dragon Dash is a community running event held in New Palestine on June 27, 2026. The start and finish are at Town Hall, and the route passes through local neighborhoods. Participants may complete the full distance or turn back early to cover one mile.

The event is not professionally timed. A race clock and volunteers will clock individual times and add them to the results page. Registration opened April 14; closing dates in June vary by entry type. Registration fees vary by distance and option, with a listed fee of $30 including a T-shirt and lower fees for entries without a T-shirt. Group pricing is available for groups of five or more.
All runners receive a T-shirt while supplies last and a finishers medal. Finish line photos will be available for download. Water, bananas, and cookies are provided at the finish area.
The run is part of Summer Fest's 10th anniversary. After the morning run, Summer Fest features vendors, food, a Beer Garden, live music, and a fireworks show.
