Event details
The Dragon Dash 5K Run/Walk takes place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Central Park, 8801 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Denver, CO 80238. The event is family-friendly and open to the community. The course is an official, flat, mostly paved 5K and will be professionally chip timed. The event is hosted by Isabella Bird Community School and proceeds benefit the school, which serves more than 500 students in ECE through 5th grade.
Logistics and registration
Race day includes final packet pickup and in-person registration, food trucks, and a race expo. Participants are released in waves every 2 minutes. Packet pickup closes before the race; the course and event area close later in the day. Registration pricing listed in the event information is $33.50 including a $3.50 fee, with different pricing for children: free for ages 0-4 and $23.50 for ages 5-11. The registration fee increases after November 1, 2025. Event staff are not responsible for children who participate unattended; any child age 12 or under should have at least one adult age 18 or older also officially registered and accompanying them during the race and while in the expo area.
