Doylestown Doughboy 5k
The Doylestown Doughboy 5k takes place in downtown Doylestown, Ohio, as part of the local Rogues Hollow Festival. The event features two distinct distances for participants:
- 5k run/walk
- 1 mile walk
The course begins and ends near the Doughboy statue, a local landmark dedicated to World War I heroes. The route leads participants through various village and residential streets, with volunteers positioned along the path to assist with navigation. Registrants for the 5k race are eligible for age group medals as well as overall male and female awards.
Participants receive a t-shirt, post-race snacks, and a Lion's Club donut. The event is held in conjunction with the broader festival and proceeds support the Rogues Hollow Festival operations. The start and finish lines are located near the intersection of West Clinton Street and South Portage Street. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
