Downtown Melbourne 5K Run/Walk, March 20, 2027

Downtown Melbourne 5K Run/Walk is a 5 kilometer running and walking event held at Front Street Park, 2205 Front St, Melbourne, FL 32901. Proceeds benefit THE HAVEN FOR CHILDREN, a residential and therapeutic home for children removed from their families due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment.

Early packet pickup and registration are available the day before the event at Running Zone, 3696 N Wickham Road, Melbourne, FL 32935. General registration opens June 1, 2026 and closes February 28, 2027. Posted fees include an adult rate of $35 through March 1 and $40 from March 2 to race day, and a child rate (12 and under) of $30 through March 1 and $35 from March 2 to race day.

Individual awards are presented for the top three overall male and female finishers, top masters (40 and over) male and female, and top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 8 and under, 9 to 11, 12 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, 70 to 74, 75 to 79, and 80 and over.
