The Downs Park 5 Miler takes place on November 1, 2025 in Pasadena, MD (8311 John Downs Loop, 21122). The event distance is 5-mile. Online registration shows a standard fee of $15; Annapolis Striders members receive a discounted online fee of $10. Registration closes October 24, 2025. Course and logistics
The race is a loop course on paved trails inside John H. Down’s Memorial Park, starting and ending at the Fernwood Pavilion. The course runs through wooded areas and includes views of the Chesapeake Bay. Baby joggers and strollers are prohibited. Runners are expected to maintain at least a 15-minute-per-mile pace. Bib pickup occurs on race morning. This race is listed as the seventh leg of the Annapolis Striders Championship Series. Volunteers should contact the race director for information.
