Holiday Hustle - Parkville
The BRRC Annual Holiday Hustle and Brunch Social is scheduled for December 6, 2026 at McFaul’s Iron Horse Tavern, 2260 Cromwell Bridge Rd, Parkville, MD 21234. The event combines a 5K run/walk on Loch Raven Drive with a buffet brunch on the restaurant’s outside porch deck.
The running course will be an out-and-back route on Loch Raven Drive, starting from either the north or south end of the reservoir (Peerce’s or McFaul’s); the final course is to be announced and may include a hill. Awards will be presented in the following categories: top three overall male and female, first male and female in age groups 10 and under, 11–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, and five-year age groups from 40 to 90+.
Brunch is served buffet style and includes classic scrambled eggs, breakfast potato hash, seasonal fresh fruit, thick cut applewood smoked bacon, maple sausage, oven baked biscuits and toast with jams, bagels with cream cheese, plus unlimited fountain soda, coffee, and tea.
Registration is offered in several windows with differing fees: a Flash Sale 10/31–11/5, an Early Bird period 11/6–11/18, customary online registration 11/19–11/28, and on-site registration on race day. Fee levels vary by period and by run or brunch options, with reduced child pricing for ages 6–10.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Charlie Reynolds Memorial Scholarship Fund. Parking is available in the lot behind McFaul’s; parking in the upper Cromwell Bridge Road lot is discouraged and carpooling is suggested.
