The dowhnill dash 5km takes place on July 19, 2026 at Corktown Park, Ferguson Avenue South, Hamilton, Ontario. The event supports Stac Hamilton, a charitable organization that provides safe space, mentorship and pathways to education for youth facing barriers.
The course is slightly downhill, tree covered and traffic free for the full 5 km. Runners are transported by bus to the start line. Chip timing is provided by TIMING SHACK. Custom finisher medals are awarded to all finishers.
Prizes are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in 10 year age groups, from 14 and under to 70 and over. Hot food and drinks are available after the run, followed by the awards ceremony. The event also features numerous draw prizes.
This race is number three in the Hausers Pharmacy Hamilton Running Series. Series points are awarded 3 2 1 in age group and overall divisions and are added at the final race of the year.
