Down By The River Races : Cambuslang
The event on Sunday 14 June 2026 features two measured road races held along the Clyde Walkway towards Glasgow and back. The course follows the walkway, is fairly narrow in places and remains open to walkers and cyclists, so runners should take care and keep to the left.

The race starts and finishes on Cambuslang Road at the junction of Clydesmill Drive. Race headquarters are at Cambuslang Rugby and Sports Club, Langlea Rd, Cambuslang G72 8HG. There is no parking close to the start and finish; competitors are directed to park at the rugby and sports club and allow time to walk or jog to the course. Alternative parking is available on Clydesmill Drive in the industrial estate as shown on the event map.
Prize structure is published for both distances. The 10 km has monetary prizes for top finishers, age-category prizes, team prizes, plus a goodie bag, many spot prizes and a bonus for beating course records. The 3 km has prizes for the top three finishers in each gender category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
