Down By The River 10k and 3k : Cambuslang
Down By The River races take place on 14 June 2026 with race headquarters at Cambuslang Rugby and Sports Club, Langlea Road, Cambuslang G72 8HG. The event comprises two road/walkway distances run along the Clyde Walkway towards Glasgow and back.

- 3 km
The course follows the Clyde Walkway and is fairly narrow in places. The walkway remains open to the public during the races, so participants should be aware of walkers and cyclists; the organiser notes it is usually quiet on a Sunday morning. The start and finish are on Cambuslang Road at the junction of Clydesmill Drive.
Prizes are offered for both distances. The 10 km prize list includes first, second and third male and female prizes and multiple category and team prizes. The 3 km offers first, second and third prizes for male and female finishers. The event also includes goodie bags, numerous spot prizes, and a bonus for beating course records. The organiser has provided maps and directions between the clubhouse and the start area and advises that there is no parking near the start and finish.
Parking is available at the rugby and sports club; alternative parking is on Clydesmill Drive in the nearby industrial estate. Participants are advised to allow time to walk or jog from the clubhouse to the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
