Dover Sherborn Boosters Triathlon
The Dover Sherborn Boosters Triathlon is a sprint distance multi-sport event that takes place in Dover and Sherborn, Massachusetts. The course features a double transition format that begins at Farm Pond and concludes with a finish at the Dover Sherborn High School. Participation is available for both individuals and relay teams.
The event consists of three distinct segments:
- .25 mile swim in Farm Pond, a crystal-clear kettle pond.
- 14.3 mile bike ride through hilly backcountry roads.
- 3.4 mile run on the backroads of Sherborn and Dover.
A shuttle bus service operates on the morning of the event to transport participants between the high school and the swim start at Farm Pond. The race concludes with a post-race breakfast buffet provided by local merchants. This community-organized event is volunteer-driven and supports the Dover-Sherborn Boosters, a non-profit organization that promotes health and athletic experiences.
Transition area one and the bike drop-off are located at Farm Pond, while transition area two and parking are situated at Dover Sherborn High School. The bike route and run route traverse scenic landscapes and local farms before the stadium-style finish at the high school grounds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
