Doral 5K
The Doral 5K is a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk through the City of Doral. The course begins at the entrance of Doral Meadow Park, 11555 NW 58th Street. RaceTime is the official timer; race numbers include a timing tag on the back and results are scored by net time and streamed live on-site and online.
Registration has tiered pricing with early, regular, and race day rates; payments are by credit card only and there are no refunds or transfers. Group discounts are available for groups of ten or more and for specialty groups, but group discounts do not apply to race day registrations. T-shirts are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis during packet pickup. Packet pickup details are to be determined; participants must bring a photo ID and may provide a copy of their ID and bib number to authorize another person to pick up their packet.
Parking at Doral Meadow Park is limited. Additional parking is available at Eugenia B. Thomas Elementary School. A variety of food and beverages will be available to participants while supplies last.
Age-group awards cover male and female divisions from 8 and under through 75 and over. Additional awards include top overall, largest group or team, top resident, top first responders, top military, top special needs and adaptive athlete categories, and top Silver Club members.
A heat warning notes that temperatures and humidity can be high; the event advises ample fluid intake and wearing loose, light-colored clothing, and lists symptoms of heat-related injury to watch for. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
