The 5k distance features a certified rolling course. Participants begin on the road and complete the final 1.5 miles on the Doodle Trail. The finish line is located at the Pickens Doodle Trail Park. Age group awards are provided at 10 year intervals, including overall and master awards for both male and female categories.

The 15k Challenge begins in Easley at the Law Enforcement Center on NW Main St and finishes in Pickens. There is a specific course cut-off time of 1 hour and 45 minutes for this distance.
