Donut Dash - Saint Joseph
The Donut Dash is a family friendly timed 5K plus run and walk through historic downtown Saint Joseph. The route passes Mount Mora Cemetery, Patee House Museum and Robidoux Row. Along the course, participants may stop at designated watering holes to drink and sample donut holes from Gold-N-Glaze Donut & Coffee Shop.
The event starts at Patee House Museum at 1202 Penn Street and finishes at Gold-N-Glaze Donut & Coffee Shop at 1825 Frederick Avenue. A shuttle service will return participants to the start location. The race will be timed and no motorized vehicles, roller blades or bikes are allowed on the course. Intersection protection is provided by volunteers or the St. Joseph Police Department.
Registration details include an early registration fee that secures a T-shirt if completed by September 27, 2026, and a separate late registration fee. Children 12 and under have a reduced fee. Sizes 2XL and 3XL carry additional fees. Pre-registered participants receive a T-shirt, race bib and finisher medal; T-shirts are not included with late registration. Packets are available for pickup on the day before the race at Farmers State Bank and also the morning of the event at the start line. Strollers and pets are allowed; stroller users start behind runners. No refunds are given and the event takes place rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
