The Don't Sit on Colon Cancer 5K and 1 Mile Walk is Sentara’s annual community event focused on awareness, early detection, and support for people affected by colon and colorectal cancer. On March 28, 2026, survivors, families, medical teams, and community supporters gather in Virginia Beach to remember those lost, honor those currently fighting, and recognize survivors across Hampton Roads.
