DoNot Stop Half Marathon/5K/10K - Greater Chicago
The DoNot Stop event in Greater Chicago runs in early April 2027 (April 3 to April 10) and includes multiple in-person and virtual options. The organizer presents a donut-themed event with race categories for children and adults.
Event distances and formats:
- Kid's Dash, 50 m, for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile, untimed
- 5K, 3.1 miles
- 10K, 6.2 miles
- Half Marathon, 13.1 miles
- Virtual Race, run any day at chosen location
- Volunteer then Run, combine volunteering with a race entry
- Running Buddy Half Marathon, requires prior approval
Common features for on-site races include a custom bib, a designer shirt, a finisher medal, chip-timing with live results and awards for timed races, free photos, and a donut at the finish line. The virtual race includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and shipped packet; virtual packets are mailed and ship the Wednesday after the race, and virtual participants can upload times and photos starting the event day.
Volunteer then Run participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup to assist, then may run any distance. Registration notes state that registering by midnight on Thursday two Thursdays before race day guarantees a shirt. Youth-based pricing for 12 and under is available for the 5K and 10K events.
